Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Ovelle at https://ovelle.me. Using the service means accepting them.

The service

Ovelle stores personal knowledge and lets agents you connect work with the parts of it you choose. It is offered as an early product: features change, and it may be unavailable at times.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission. You must be old enough to form a contract where you live.

Your content

What you put into Ovelle remains yours. You grant only the permission needed to run the service for you: storing it, showing it back to you, backing it up, and passing it to an agent you have explicitly authorised. Do not store material you have no right to store, or use Ovelle to break the law.

Agents you connect

Connecting an agent is your decision and its actions are your responsibility. Ovelle scopes what an agent may reach, records what it does, and lets you revoke it — but the agent runs on its provider's systems under their terms, and Ovelle does not control its behaviour or its costs.

Availability and cost controls

The service runs with deliberate spending limits. Features that cost money to run, transcription in particular, may pause when a limit is reached. This is a design choice that keeps the service viable rather than a fault.

Ending

You may stop using Ovelle at any time and ask for your account to be closed. We may suspend an account that is breaking these terms or putting the service at risk, and will say why where we can. Export your content before closing an account.

Warranties and liability

Ovelle is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or the cost of doing so. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Changes

These terms may change as the product does. Material changes will be noted by the date above and, where they matter, in the application.
